Ronaldo shades FIFA Best Awards with epic sitting at home Instagram post

Football star, Cristiano Ronaldo took to his Instagram to make a post shading FIFA Best Awards after they awarded the 2019 FIFA Best Men’s award to Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo, who was absent from the award showpiece event, immediately posted a photo of himself operating his i-pad while at home, a suggestion that he intention avoided the awards ceremony.

Ronaldo may have gotten a hint he won’t win the award and avoided going to the ceremony. He won the UEFA Nations League trophy with Portugal and Italian League title with Juventus where won the Italian league most valuable player award.

His post on the social media platform came just immediately after the award show ended, and he could be seen visibly relaxed at home, with his son reading a book at the dining table.

We will need four or five games to get fit – Solskjaer

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has revealed that his team needs up to five matches to get fit.

Solskjaer watched on, as the Red Devils began their Premier League campaign, with a humiliating 3-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

United travel to play Luton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

In on that was a short preseason for the Red Devils, they only played against Aston Villa, to get ready for the new season.

Solskjaer admits it could take weeks for his players to reach match fitness.

“We need four or five games to get up to the standard we know we’re capable of.

“We haven’t had an opportunity to get those games in and we have to make sure, in these games, we get the minutes and make the players ready to start competing in the league again,” he told a press conference on Monday.

After travelling to Luton, they face a tricky run of fixtures featuring games against Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton before the middle of November.

Arsenal complete signing of new goalkeeper ahead of Liverpool clash

Arsenal on Monday officially confirmed the signing of a new goalkeeper, Alex Runarsson, ahead of their Premier League clash with Liverpool on September 28.

Runarsson completed the transfer to the Gunners from French club, Dijon.

Arsenal made the confirmation in a statement via the club’s official website.

The statement reads: “Goalkeeper Alex Runarsson has joined us on a four-year contract from French club Dijon.”

Reacting, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta told the club’s official website: “We want to create healthy competition for places, and we look forward to seeing Alex bring further depth to the goalkeeping position.”

Meanwhile, Runarsson, 25, will wear the number 13 shirt for Arsenal.

The Iceland international made 13 appearances in all competitions for Dijon last season.
